The startup.bat script sets the value of CATALINA_HOME before calling catalina.bat; if an appropriate value can't be determined, catalina.bat never gets called. (Again, this behavior is for Tomcat 5.5 and later; you'll have to examine the script yourself for the 4.1 level.) - Chuck THIS COMMUNICATION MAY CONTAIN CONFIDENTIAL AND/OR OTHERWISE PROPRIETARY MATERIAL and is thus for use only by the intended recipient.
