Perhapa somwonw can recommend me another hosting provider (will gladly refer them) and one where they don't add silly prefix names o everything done in mysql?

there is no cli for myswl using cpanel. Only php mysql admin and I know I am using the credentials provided when I created the user in php admin

Not according to the log file you sent.

Are you saying that you have successfully logged in to MySQL from
the command line on the server using those credentials?
