further to this

later on in my catalina.out log the following occurs

INFO: Using JNDI solr.home: /home/lewis/Downloads/wombra
04-Mar-2011 15:00:23 org.apache.solr.core.SolrResourceLoader <init>
INFO: Solr home set to '/home/lewis/Downloads/wombra/'
04-Mar-2011 15:00:23 org.apache.solr.core.SolrResourceLoader replaceClassLoader
INFO: Adding
'file:/home/lewis/Downloads/wombra/lib/geronimo-stax-api_1.0_spec-1.0.1.jar' to
classloader
04-Mar-2011 15:00:23 org.apache.solr.core.SolrResourceLoader replaceClassLoader
INFO: Adding 'file:/home/lewis/Downloads/wombra/lib/slf4j-jdk14-1.5.5.jar' to
classloader
...
many
...
more

This has really got me confusedas it would appear all of the files in the JNDI
property are loaded... the exact same files present in
$CATALINA_HOME/webapps/myWebApp/lib
