I figured it out. If you login to the site, then open another window and visit to the site you will have to login again. But if you login to the site, then open a shortcut in a new window that goes directly to http://www.foodhandler.org, you will be already logged in.
I have no idea why opening a blank browser window and navigating to the site is any different from opening a shortcut to the site directly -- I would have thought that each would request in the same way, but apparently that's not the case. insom wrote: > > It turns out she did have another browser window open.
