We have taken a look at the URL. For the pictures that DON'T load, the URL has extra parameters (?width=120&height=500) for example.
One picture even had (&width=500&width=500&width=500&width=500&width=500&width=500&width=500&width=500&width=500&width=500...) etc. The picture can be accessed normaly on the attachments tab. The "xwiki.store.attachment.hint" in the xwiki.cfg is all set to "hibernate" (which is the default setting).
