We have this *HPC System Admin *position open with one of our client based out of *Houston**, TX** *it is a* **1 year+** *of contract *Below is the complete job description. ** * *Position:* *HPC System Admin* *Location*: *Houston**, TX* *Duration:* *1 year+* *Rate: Open* * All Skills Are MUST* Need a person who has experience performing configuration and system administration of High Performance Computing clusters of Linux systems. Experience with gas and oil industry needs for HPC is desirable Candidate will need to be able to respond to afterhours work as needed. Candidate must have a good work ethic. Required Technology experience: 1. HPC Cluster Management & Support – Linux OS (Red Hat, SUSE, etc.), Infiniband, 10 Gb networking, OFED/MPI environment 2. Storage – SAN, NAS, Cluster storage, Parallel file system (Luster) 3. HPC management software such as GRID, Beowulf, MPICH, MOAB, PBS, etc. 4. Backup software such as NetBackup, Legato, etc. 5. Solaris experience a plus.
