NO TRAVEL This role will have responsibility for managing all software development projects related to both our market-defining product offerings and our internal, mission-critical operational applications. RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead software development from helping to define business requirements through development, QA and deployment * Detailed project planning, scheduling, resourcing and tracking * Identify, escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner * Manage projects in an environment where changing priorities can occur at any point during the project lifecycle * Work closely with developers to lead them to a successful project deliverable * Develop and implement QA plans in cooperation with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that key features are tested and that projects are ready for production * Develop and implement application deployment plans for new and existing applications. REQUIREMENTS * Minimum 8 years of experience in a project management role for a web development or software development organization * Proven success in managing projects and helping to develop product requirements that lead to revenue generating products * Experience driving teams to deliver quality products against aggressive schedules * Must have demonstrated an ability to make sound engineering decisions and meet deadlines with a strong track record of success * Excellent interpersonal skills with a well organized discipline, detail-oriented mentality, high energy levels and a team player attitude * Previous experience managing and mentoring at least 1 other project manager * Previous experience as a software developer or strong understanding of technology and software * Experience with Agile Software Development required, preferably Scrum * Ability to define project management processes, tools and templates * Experience with projects involving the Java programming language required Email resume in Word to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please include the job code for the position with your resume.
