Java/J2EE Developer Location: MD
Duration: 6months Rate: $40/hr CTC * MAX * At least six years in IT in any of these areas; systems development, functional and data requirements analysis, systems analysis and design, programming, program design and documentation preparation. A minimum of four years must be intensive and progressive experience in the implementation of information engineering projects involving JAVA and J2EE; systems analysis, design and programming; systems planning; business information planning; and business analysis. Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work independently or under general direction only. Education: A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline is required. Technical Skills that are minimum Required: .Experience with J2EE components and frameworks. e.g., Spring, Struts, Hibernate, EJB, TopLink .Experience and knowledge of Java Swing .Experience with designing and developing application security (Access Manager, LDAP, Active Directory) .Full Software Development Lifecycle experience using Java (8+ yrs) .J2EE Development, SQL, Stored Procedures using Oracle 10g .Proficient in OO Design using Design Patterns .Build coordination and Ant Scripting experience with CVS integration .Load testing, performance tuning of J2EE applications . Setting development standards for the development team to follow .Application Deployment onto an Oracle Application Server or similar. .Ability to conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) on latest technologies in order to effectively develop the system architecture that will be used in development. Desired SKILLS: .Functional Requirements Gathering and Requirements Maintenance .Data Requirements Gathering and Maintenance .Writing Test Cases and Testing Procedures .Oracle Application Server experience preferred .Experience in functional testing.
