Candidates should have experience configuring and maintaining Application servers like WebLogic or other Commercial Off the Shelf product. Candidates MUST have 8+yrs Engineering experience, knowledge of PKI Infrastructure, UNIX, FTP, and file transfer security. Kerberized FTP, AIX, and AS2 are a PLUS and are NOT required. All candidates must be able to multitask and have a bachelors degree About the position: The successful candidate will engineer and implement managed file transfer solutions using products such as Synchrony Gateway Interchange and Connect: Direct on various platforms including Unix, Windows and IBM Mainframe. The candidate will need to be knowledgeable on Managed File Transfer solutions and how they interact with DMZ components. The position is technical and "hands on". The candidate will need to coordinate and communicate with network and application engineers to determine architecture, configure and test the COTS products in use. The position also requires the candidate to be on Level 2 pager duty as per a published schedule. The person will get an opportunity to work with Fannie Mae's leading trading partners by setting up managed and secured file transfers infrastructure. Responsibilities: Implement and maintain secured and reliable File§ exchanges between Fannie Mae Internal (A2A) applications and with Fannie Mae's external partners (B2B). Configure and maintain Synchrony and Connect:§ Direct on various platforms such as Unix, Windows and IBM Mainframe. Act§ as Subject Matter Expert to internal groups within Fannie Mae to determine requirements, suggest architectural changes and implement recommendations around file exchanges. Coordinate and Communicate with external customers for B2B§ File Transfer setup. Follow Fannie Mae processes to implement changes and§ enhancement to Managed file transfer solutions. Provide On-call§ operational support (second level, via pager). Analyze and provide second-level problem resolution on complex technical issues. Identify potential improvements to increase the reliability, availability, supportability and performance of the Fannie Mae applications and infrastructure.
