Prefers some one who has the ability to go CTH so green card or US citizen get first priority Looking for DB2 DBA for ongoing day to day project needs. Also want this person to train to recent hires for Oracle DBA to DB2 DBA work./ Initial contract short term but hopes top extend. DB is 4 TB and expected to grow to 6TB by end of 2009. Candidates need to have exp. with similar sized DBs *Top 3 skills* Strong partitioning expertise Backup and recovery expertise (done using shell scripting) Monitoring (v 9.5 has out of the box monitoring tool so any exp. with this tool ideal!) Upgrade exp. ideal. Currently in V. 9.1 enterprise edition.
