*Responsibilities of the role include: *Leads facilitation processes to drive out requirements from all levels of business and technical clients using group and collaborative methods: Understands the business issues and data challenges. Effectively translate business analysis requirements into appropriate data hierarchies, organizational form and technical specifications. Define key data measures (both static and transactional data) Develop & implement tools to monitor and report on key data measures Model and design sophisticated and complex data queries and hierarchies. Design reports and retrieve data to support the business teams in effectively analyzing the business, including ad hoc reporting. Work with business teams on building the systems infrastructure to automate models Design systems to support critical dashboards to manage the day to day business. Drive automation of reporting efforts for Finance, Treasury, Risk, and/or Marketing teams. Partner with other Business Intelligence and IT-related teams to provide data requirements for all related systems Acquire a thorough understanding of the business and the data in order to provide guidance for systematically providing insight into revenue trends, customer segmentation, etc. to positively impact business results Delivers informative, well-organized documentation & presentations. Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems. Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets. *Skills & Qualifications:* Bachelors degree 5+ years of data systems analysis, ideally in a finance or accounting environment IIBA knowledge/membership and/or certification desired Understanding of master data management and data warehousing and reporting Excellent verbal and written communications skills to interact with, and to communicate with, people at all levels. Most likely will have either provided oversight for a primary data system for a finance function and/or be considered a super user/expert in architecting financial data systems. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel. Experience with Oracle, DataStage, and Cognos preferred High energy level, excellent problem-solving skills Inquisitive and the desire to understand *why* Interviewing skills, to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information. Initiative, Self-starter, works well independently and with a team Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements Strong time-management skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
