That's good news. <smug smile>

Obviously, the local authorities are using CalTrans regulations as their
model.

Just a negative note, on another topic, someone brought one of those Arbor
Mist fruit flavored wines (which you may have seen advertised on TV) to a
potluck gathering this Sunday. Rather than the SI-only 750 mL specification
usually found on the bottle and the label, it had both SI and FFU on the
label and nothing embossed on the bottle. The SI was 750 mL and the FFU was
1.5 Pt, which is not even a correct conversion. It also had nutrition
information (not normally required for wine) based on an "8 fl oz (240 mL)"
serving size.

The "winery" is in New York State. (Oh, and the bottle had a screw top.
Blasphemous! <g>) The base wine is a Chardonnay. I hope it's a cheap one. It
would be terrible to corrupt a good one that way

Anyone who wants to set them straight can find them at
http://www.arbormist.com. With the exception of the "serving size," the web
site itself is all SI. (At least, I didn't find any "1.5 Pt" references.)
