To all,

Last year I reported about the Danish cookie manufacturer Ripensa which was
acting as an ifp fifth column in metric countries. It was mentioned on the
website of the Metric Martyrs. All its produce was packed and sold in hard
avoirdupois and irrational metric sized tins and boxes and labelled as, for
instance, NET WEIGHT 1 LB (454 g).
Well, now it appears that Ripensa has lost its value for the likes of the
Metric Martyrs, the UKIP and the BWMA, because, just about 30 minutes ago, I
was in our supermarket and I saw a pile of their tin boxes filled with
Danish cookies and the contents on all boxes was labelled as: NET WEIGHT
500 g. Nothing else! BTW, at present I see very, very little of ifp on
packed goods in our supermarkets and shops.
