Porche used only three bolt sizes in the whole car: a small bolt for the
body panels, a slightly larger one for engine parts and a very large one for
the wheels. By doing this, he was able to provide each car with a three
spanner toolkit.
I had a 1964 VW. I never took the wheels off, so the only two wrenches and sockets I ever used on that car were 10 mm and 13 mm.
