Well...cycling has always been a bit of an odd thing.
Road bikes are pretty much 100% metric. Headsets are 1" or 1 1/8" though....but that's about it. Everything else is mm or cm.


Mountain bikes, with their American heritage (mountain bikes and BMX bikes were American developments) are inches a lot of the time and are more apt to be weighed in pounds.
