Hello everyone. Could someone tell me in the
U K if you get a brochure on a new car do they give the dimentions of the car
such as length width height and weight in imperial or metric or both? In
Canada most car companys in brochures give the dimentions in both, the
metric first and then the imperial. Honda and Kia in their brochures give
all dimentions and weight in metric only. In the U K if you buy a bag of
potatoes is the bag weighed in kg or lbs? About a month ago Doreen bought
a bag of potatoes from the states that were imported to Canada. It was a
ten lb bag, but it also had the kg on the lable. I read the posting that
Mighty Chimp put on the site this afternoon. In some ways I agree with
him, when he says that we talk about things that really don't matter. In
my opinion to change the second is never going to happen. There are muc
more pressing things to work on if we ever want the metric system to be excepted
in every way. I hope I haven't upset anybody with what I have said.
Cheers. h
