Some of  you may have heard about the ESA Mars probe. The US press reported the distance at 3.36 million miles, which does not convert properly from 5.5 million kilometres.  The official ESA site doesn't do FFU, so I thought I'd post this link for those who might want to read about their space achievements in real units.
 
 
 
One thing is certain, no crash due to unit mix-ups can happen with ESA.
