Why do you feel Canada is mostly imperial?
What role does imperial play? Do you see a metric consumer economy as
being unimportant when making a determination as to whether Canada is metric or
not?
Out of curiosity, how do Canadians adopt to metric
speed and distance measurements in metric? Weather and food products in
metric? I think you can explain to us a typical day in the life of a
Canadian when encountering measurements and how they are dealt
with.

Subject: [USMA:29677] Mess in
Canada
Hi Bil when you said it's too bad Joe Reid didn't
live long enough to see the mess cleaned up in Canada, are you talking about
metric? In my opinion Canada is still in a metric mess and i don't see
it getting cleaned up until the U S goes metric. I still think Canada
is largely imperial. I hope this doesn't sound negative but in my
opinion it's true. I would love to see Canada take the bull by the horns
and go metric regardless of what the states does but i think i am
living in a dream world to think that would happen. I am going to
do what ever little i can to try and change things in Canada, such as sending
e mail and phoning companys that don't use metric. John
