Some members of the BWMA are expressing elation over the parliamentary elections on 2004-06-10 in the UK.  The UKIP if they were to win would no doubt undo all of the metrication progress in the UK.  Even though members of the BWMA hope the UKIP will win significantly and be a force to undo metrication, I am wondering how easy or difficult such a task will or can be.

Can someone from the UK give us a personal opinion on how much a threat the UKIP is to metrication?  I've been to their website, but I'm sure it is all propaganda in their favour.
