The voting is currently 50% each way. This contradicts what BWMA claim,
when they constantly say that the majority of British people do not want
metric on the roads. I don't remember what BWMA claim now, probably 90%
or so in favour of miles. But a poll by the Independent on Sunday showed
a 62% in favour of kilometres on UK roads.
The British public DO want KM instead of miles, if only the UK govt
would give us km instead of miles!!
