Has there been any real progress in introducing a FPLA amendment to Congress? I haven't heard any action on that in months. Is it floating in a committee somewhere?
I figure they have till about 2008 to introduce such an amendment because it'll probably take about two years for all the industry to adjust. It's really nice to see companies like who respond to requests for hard metric (even though they have to slap on all that floozie stuff as well). More evidence that many companies will respond to an amended FPLA by quickly labeling their products in metric only. It'll be interesting to see how the bandwagon effect operates at that point (both here and in Canada).
