Crisp, Pat? Consider Bismarck, North Dakota, which recently experienced -40 C.
At that temperature, which I experienced many years ago in Maine, one's power
steering fluid turns to Jell-O (or, if you prefer, Vegemite!), and the car's
upholstery becomes as stiff as plywood.
