The deprecated term for Celsius (I won't repeat it) it still in such general use that it will be hard to shake even though it was decommissioned 60 years ago. However, when two men from my hospital's engineering department were recalibrating the thermostat on one of our pharmacy's refrigerators, I asked them which temperature scale they use. One of them said, "Celsius." I replied, "Thank you."
