If you are using the feature they call "Point Forecast" there is a switch link near the bottom of the page that says "International System of Units." Click that and it will be predominately metric with a couple of things dual.
Oddly, the link name DOESN'T change to "Customary units" but it is a toggle, it goes back and forth between the two. If you have it in SI mode and bookmark it, it will be in SI mode when you click on the bookmarked link. However, if you search for it "cold" rather than using a saved link, it defaults to Customary. The metric is all conversions, the raw data is in units prescribed in FMH. For surface observations, those are generally US Customary. However, the conversions are pretty well done, sensible units and precision. ________________________________ From: James Wong <working...@gmail.com> To: U.S. Metric Association <usma@colostate.edu> Sent: Wed, March 13, 2013 12:23:36 PM Subject: [USMA:52507] National Weather Service: Observation in F (C), Forecast in F only Recently I need to get myself familiar with National Weather Service. I randomly look up a city. The temp observation for that city displayed in both F and C. Make sense. Then I proceeded to read 7-day forecast. All of the forecasted temp is in F. Why?????
