This notice specifies the amendments to align the requirements of the UPLR into agreement with FPLA revisions that are effective December 17, 2015. NIST Amendment Notice: Correction to NIST Handbook 130 - UPLR: ? Background – Provided background information regarding the 2015 FTC Amendments to the FPLA. ? Section 5. Declaration of Responsibility: Consumer and Non-consumer Packages – amended language to include the use of on-line resources in lieu of a printed telephone directory ? Section 6.7.1. Symbols and Abbreviations. – amended the language to add the term “and exponents” ? Section 13. Retail Sale Price Representations – remove Section 13. in its entirety.
