I am guessing that there are enough people on this list that had to go
through exactly what I am trying to do.
I live on BYU campuss, and I got an ethernet card from BYU. In win, it
says that the card is:
Realtek RTL8019 PnP LAN
I/O Range 0240-025f
IRQ 09
When I try to configure my ethernet card in Linux (Red Hat 6.0), Realtek
is one of the options, but with a different number. I try autoprobe, and
it says that it could not find the device on the system. I try specifying
options, but it says the same thing.
Somebody told me to try the ne2000 compatible, but I got the same
results.
