I'm a windows guy at heart, so I always use ctrl-c / ctrl-v. I often press down the scroll wheel (for no reason, just ann odd habit I've picked up, since in windows it doesn't do anything... also sometimes by accident), and it annoys me to have the clipboard pasted in the middle of whatever I'm working on. You'd think X would have a setting to change it. If not, does anyone know if linux has some sort of global hook you could install to intercept the click and hide it from the rest of the system (equiv. of the windows api SetWindowsHookEx using WH_MOUSE)? --- Russell Davis ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://phantom.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
