Joe Barr has figured this out. He's using MySQL, ODBC, and OpenOffice to set up a Microsoft Access-like front-end to MySQL (althought you could use PostgreSQL or anything else). I've set it up on my work machine running Debian, which was much easier that his experience on RedHat. This seems like a good database front end for Linux!
