That's the beauty of it.  You don't have to upgrade to 8.0.  Just
install the relevant rpms that I made mentioned and you'll be able to
have OO in all it's anti-aliased glory.

Also, XFS is only a function of the kernel and possibly some XFS-related
utilities, not the distro itself.  You can upgrade manually to RedHat
8.0 any time (by installing rpms) and have the benefit of the nicer
fonts, gnome 2, and still keep your XFS stuff.  I have done this type of
thing many times.  The only caveat would be ximian packages.  You'd want
to remove those before upgrading.
