This is Linux. Remap! Moving CTRL to CAPS LOCK takes care of the pinky
problem. And then there's vip-mode, for those who really like hitting
the `ESC' key all the time.
As far as the functions being listed, try speedbar. In EMACS, of course.
And tab-completion is alt-/, unless you use a script to automatically
complete when you hit tab (I personally find that annoying though).
