Hey everyone, our lab machine (solaris on x86, I believe) is being
weird. Its web server and nfs server at least are running just fine,
but no one can log in. I tried logging in at the console, and I found
the screen full of errors that all said
WARNING: /tmp: File system full, swap space limit exceeded
The login prompt came up, but no matter what username I try (including
root) it says
tmchild: exec service failed, errno = 2
and goes back to the login prompt. A search on google didn't help
much-- one page in Japanese, one page that I have no idea what it is,
and two others that look like someone has the same problem, but with
only one follow-up suggestion to log in as root. (Obviously won't work
in our case.) Any ideas?
Lars
