My dad still uses mail. It seems to work great for him. :)

This whole gui debate is silly.. it's completely personal preference. Some of us 
are really good at text-based programs. It can make our work much faster. Some 
people would rather be able to click buttons because that's what they're used to 
and they can get their work done quickly. I guess you could call it a state 
function ("as long as it gets the job done"..).
