Never before, but you have my attention now. Why was that?

If I recall correctly:


MS-DOS 6.2   - stolen compressed drive code from Stak
MS-DOS 6.2.1 - no drive compression
MS-DOS 6.2.2 - drive compression recoded my M$

Note that I believe Stak was still against the code in 6.2.1 but the courts let it ship.
