If your gonna steal code why not steal from the best. Ever wonder why there was DOS 6.0 6.2 and 6.22.
Never before, but you have my attention now. Why was that?
If I recall correctly:
MS-DOS 6.2 - stolen compressed drive code from Stak MS-DOS 6.2.1 - no drive compression MS-DOS 6.2.2 - drive compression recoded my M$
Note that I believe Stak was still against the code in 6.2.1 but the courts let it ship.
