I think the perfect solution is to form a child organization of the UUG. This organization could focus on Open Source and Linux. This would be more than a special interest group. I suggest the following names:

1. BLUE, the BYU Linux Users Exchange (blue.byu.edu is available)
2. yLinux
3. OSC, the BYU Open Source Consortium
4. Linux Heads
5. OpenDev, a club for Open Source development
6. FreeDev, a club for Free Software Development

What do you think? Shall we create a poll about what to do: ie, fok the group, child group, rename the group, etc?
