Hmm, the fact that GNU's Not UNIX is an interesting point. That means that GNU/Linux isn't UNIX at all. Linux Users don't use UNIX! *BSD, HP-UX, Irix, SCO (shudder), etc. users /are/ UNIX users. All right, all you Linux users get out. This is a *BSD club. (I'm really, very much, kidding here. Please don't take me the least bit serious.)

AT&T, owners of the UNIX trademark, haven't released a version of UNIX since 1989. So technically, nobody uses UNIX anymore (if you do, have you gotten GNOME to compile on it?). Everything is a UNIX clone or derivative: Linux, *BSD, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, IRIX, SCO, OSX, Hurd, Tru64, QNX, etc.
