To bias the poll against any major change. More than anything, the charter was designed many years ago to protect us. As Evan hinted, there is some bad blood between the CS dept. and our club. I was hoping it was water under the bridge, but I guess not. From what I understand, it wasn't really our fault. Another club was the major culprit, we suffered collateral damage. They were disbanded, and I think a member was kicked out of BYU. We owe a debt of gratitude to the officers, Dell Scott (for being the only faculty member willing to sponsor us), and yes, even BYUSA. Without them, the UUG would have ceased to exist. That's about all I know. If you want to know more, you'll have to talk to the people that lived through it. As of a year ago, a few, including the founder of the UUG, were still lurking on this list. -- Stuart Jansen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> #define FALSE 0 /* This is the naked Truth */ #define TRUE 1 /* and this is the Light */ -- mailto.c
