Red Hat paid Caldera back in the early days to write the RPM program.. Caldera ported 
Netscape 1 or 2 to Linux
so there would be a graphical browser in addition to lynx (and possibly links?). 
German Caldera engineers
developed StarOffice which was sold to Sun later. On the StarOffice one, I am not 
totally certain as to
whether it was originally developed by Caldera or if Caldera bought the company that 
created it and then
developed it further before selling it.. This may be the case..
