Two questions:
1.) Currently on my Gentoo system, when I right-click on my Gnome
desktop, and select "Disks >", the resulting sub-menu is empty. How can
I add entries there to be able to mount stuff graphically?
2.) How can I tell Linux to automount certain removable media, like my
PCMCIA CompactFlash card reader when I insert a card? I've got an entry
for the CF card in fstab:
/dev/hde1 /mnt/compactflash auto
uid=100,gid=500,noatime 0 0
(user 'dave' is uid 100, group 'users' is gid 500)
Thanks!
