I would say that it all depends on what you use your internet 
connection for.  If you are doing some major Kazaa'ing etc then 2.5 GB 
is no where near enough.  For the average user I would say that it is 
probably acceptable. I don't know how big the files you will be 
uploading are or if it will be on a regular basis.  If you do big 
database stuff then you may run into problems as well.  I am on dial 
up, use the internet for what I need it for and don't get close to 2.5 
GB.  I, of course, avoid extensive use for fear of having to attend 
anger management classes.  :)

It's pretty easy to go over 5 GB/month if you're a moderate user.  I
guess if you are aggressive about bandwidth management, you can keep it
down to 2.5 GB/month -- but just so you know, that's an average of less
than 1K/sec continually over the month.  I usually run about 15 GB.
