This is the first I have ever heard of Digis, but in this past week I have discovered two other wireless companies in Utah:

1. Broadbandcentral.us - Seems similar to Digis. I haven't researched it a lot. Pricing is similar.

2. HeritageISP.net - I understand that this is the only wireless ISP in Utah that runs T1 lines to each of its hotspot antennas, which are spaced one-mile apart. Heritage's president told me that this setup provides more reliability and network uptime than is available through ISPs that broadcast Wi-Fi over longer distances. Heritage is also the only company that allows roaming between towers without re-authenticating. You could surf the Internet in the car all along I-15, eventually to St. George.

I am not a customer of any of these companies but I have just been researching them recently. I'd be interested to hear which you choose and how it works out for you.

I am about to sign up for internet at my home. It is from a company called Digis Networks. Currently, high speed internet is not available in the Northeast corner of Utah Valley (Lehi, Highland, etc), but a company is offering wireless from the point of the mountain via a dish. It is my only option for high speed, but even so, it is THE BEST deal that I have seem (assuming I have all of the facts correct). The data is broadcast from a tower at the point of the mountain and then picked up via a dish on my condominium. It is then fed into the cat5 network in the walls of each unit. We will then be able to simply plug into the wall, not needing any modems or other hardware.

I have two questions...

1. Has anyone heard of this company and/or has anyone has had
experience(s) with them? I would like to know if they are a
reputable company and if they have good customer service
        and up-time.

2. Second, their deal is the best that I have seen...

                $29.95 / month
1 MB up and down / speed
                $99 setup
2.5 GB data transfer / month
$5 / month / each 1 GB over data transfer

...but I am not sure about the 2.5 GB transfer. Anyone have any idea how much data one normally uses in a month... with regular internet use (email, surfing, uploading files to my server)?
