It seems to me that in terms of the Install Fest, the problem is that
there is a much higher demand from people who want to get Linux
installed than from people that want to help them install it.  I've
never been to an install fest either, but when I imagine two to three
gurus and 3 dozen computers, I don't see a pretty picture.  Sure,
there is a lot of waiting for packages to install, but when there's a
problem it takes some time to figure out, and besides, people like to
ask questions, etc., etc.

So my answer to your comment is, yes, it's a terrible thing if only 3
UUG-ers show up.
