Thanks for clarifying that, but this still leaves a bad taste in my
mouth. I am not "pro-choice" on the abortion issue. I do not like
Microsofts business practices. I really really like GPL'ed software!
Just felt the need to clarify that. I guess the reason I bring up the
similarites between the "pro-choice" abortion arguments in this
discussion is that people (including rms if you look at his personal web
page) use freedom and choice as excuses to get away with a lot of stuff
we shouldn't be letting people get away with. I'm thankful to Stuart
and others for clarifying that rms really isn't in fact trying to limit
my freedoms with regard to software in general, even though some people
make it sound like he does. His being a "flaming liberal" (I love that
phrase Stuart, it's so descriptive yet terse) made me awfully
suspicious. Maybe living up here in western Washington, so close to
Portland, OR has just made me a little too paranoid lately. Good think
Linus lives up here now, I hope I hear more from him :)
