The craptop has again been brought out from under the desk. I snagged a
10mb netinstall image for Debian and let the good times roll. I decided
that I needed to upgrade to at least the testing branch just for my own
use. However, during the apt-get dist-upgrade to testing, I got a
message telling me that the symlink boot.b needed to be changed and that
I needed to do some funky readlink-piping-to-cut command. Ok, so I
figure, I can do that. I tried it, but got some strange error (I'm not a
LILO dude, I've always used Grub). Of course the next time craptop
booted up, I got that awesome 'LI' on the screen. Yep, I screwed it up
so I had to reinstall. That finished up last night and now I would
really like to upgrade to testing or even unstable. What do I need to
change in the lilo.conf (or what symlink do I need to create for that
matter) after dist-upgrading? Thanx!
