I took my time to do an install from stage 1. Everything works fine except that modprobe has problems finding mousedev (which I believe is my fault). And also, whenever I log in as a non-root user a bazillion (yes, really that many... so much that I had to make up a number) modprobe errors come up saying that they can't find modules; modules that aren't even supposed to be looked for in the first place.
I'm thinking about just throwing in the towel and moving to a different distro. Oh and others are having this problem (see http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=86301 about the 7th post down), yet I can't find a fix. Aargh!! ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
