Funny you should say that...  or maybe I'm the only person in the
world who can
get Gentoo to work fine on his system, but can't get Debian to work
at all (and
doesn't want to try again).

Of course, at the moment, my working systems are all running Red Hat.
 The
one that had Gentoo had power supply problems, and along the line the
hard
drives got "borrowed" for other uses.
