Don't get me started on IE's lack of support for broadly supported
standards (like PNG (which competes with GIF (whose patent is held[1] by
Unisys (who is in _tight_ with Microsoft)))).

[1] The GIF patent expired in the U.S. in June, but still remains in
effect abroad for at least another year.
