and even if the markets were the same... $100 is too much for a text book
I'm in ECEn 582 and the book cost arount $100. But, they were nice and let us download the errata of errors for free. Considering the errata is 43 pages long, that was very generous of them.
But seriously, if I pay $100 for a book I would normally expect it to be pretty free of errors. But these are textbooks and we don't have much choice.
