Before you purchase goods from the so-called "gray" market, keep in mind
that most manufacturers will not honor any warranty on such goods.  Many
will not even repair such products at the owners expense.  Not a big deal
with a text book, but something to know before you plop down $1000 on a
camera or laptop.

Sounds like some Microsoft software I could have recently
purchased...sheesh.  Did you have to re-boot the book after installing
the service pack?
