Ok, so my coworker shocks the heck out of me this morning by installing emacs on
his machine. Granted, we run winders xp but it's still emacs. He can't get
syntax highlighting to work and a few other things so I sit down to help him. I
soon realize that he's running emacs 20.7. Isn't this an older version? I
thought 21.2 or 21.3 was the latest. However, I can't get these versions from
the GNU ftp site or any mirrors. I also don't have a compiler handy or I would
attempt to compile emacs for winders myself. If anyone has a precompiled emacs
binary for winders, please let me know. Email me off-list if you like :-)
Thanks!
