Surely we can merge the mailing lists without merging the organizations?
It
seems to me a tremendous strength to have the two organizations
seperate,
for reasons stated, but it also seems silly to have the mailing lists
seperate. A mailing list is not a reflection of the organization as a
whole, it's just a way to communicate. If two groups have a lot of
crossover in membership and topics of discussion, I don't see any reason
not
to combine the mailing lists. But maybe I'm missing something crucial.
